So why a Don’s Group?

Growing up i was led to believe there was a God and I was a Christian but I didn’t know who God was and lived as though he didn’t exist. Later on I discovered there were many religions and was told they worship the same god until I discovered there were many gods to choose from. In my late twenties I went on a mission to discover the truth and to investigate if Jesus really did rise from the dead. If I could prove he didn’t then I would expose Christianity as a big con. I wasn’t gullible and the only proof i would accept was if I met him. Several years later, after many conversations with people from all walks of life and beliefs, visiting churches and debating with Christians and church ministers i came to the conclusion it wasn’t possible to meet him or prove that he rose from dead.

It was July 1980 in a car park, a moment I shall never forget because just as I was about to give up; Jesus met me. I was totally overwhelmed and consumed by his presence and his indescribable love, joy and peace. He filled me with his Spirit, changed me into a different person, opened my eyes to the spiritual and supernatural realms and called me to work for him and tell everyone about him and how they can know him too.

To me it’s the highest calling of all:”; I don’t know why he chose me with all my faults but he did and I feel so humbled and honoured that he did and will continue to serve him until my last breathe and is the reason for Don’s Group.
