What is God saying to you?

253 years ago John Newton wrote "Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me: I once was lost but now I’m found; was blind but now I see".

John was a crude man, the captain of a slave ship and far from God when the Holy Spirit got on his case. When he realised the truth of his situation he turned to Jesus and was Amazed that God loved him and that he could be forgiven. Not only that, his spiritual eyes were opened, he found  his true identity and purpose in life, went on to serve the Lord in difficult times and wrote this hymn which is still sung millions of times every year.

Regardless of your past this is what God can do with a life if you surrendered to him. This is what is needed today in these dark and difficult times. What is God saying to you?
